Lindsay Mitchel
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR AND
INDEPENDENT PRACTITIONER
Lindsay is a Kansas Licensed Professional Counselor and independent practitioner at The Therapy Center. She has experience among all age groups and understands the nuances involved with military families. Lindsay has most recently worked with local first response agencies to provide on-site evaluation and therapy to those in acute crises. Lindsay enjoys working with children and families to foster positive growth. Lindsay is well-versed in treating individuals with borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and those suffering from anxiety and depression.
Lindsay has recently celebrated her twelfth wedding anniversary and has two daughters, a dog, and two ornery cats. She enjoys challenging herself in the gym and immersing herself in music. Some of her hobbies include baking, tackling home-improvement projects, and dancing with her daughters. She received her baccalaureate and master's degrees from Wichita State and is a lifelong Wichita-area resident.
