Kaylie Denning

Kaylie is a Kansas Licensed Professional Counselor and independent practitioner at The Therapy Center. She specializes in specializes in anxiety, depression, and trauma, employing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs. It is Kaylie’s goal to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment by integrating empathy and authenticity in order to build a therapeutic relationship. Kaylie enjoys working with adolescents and young adults to explore their thoughts and feelings, helping them navigate life's challenges and develop coping strategies. Kaylie believes in the power of collaboration and is committed to empowering clients to achieve their personal goals. Kaylie received her baccalaureate in Psychology and Spanish from Friends University and her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wichita State University. Kaylie completed her master’s level internship at the WISE Clinic where she provided individual, couples, and family therapy. Kaylie has most recently worked at a community mental health center to provide evaluation and therapy to individuals and families in acute crises.
Kaylie lives in Wichita with her fiancé, young puppy, and five cats. She enjoys playing with her pets, watching horror movies, and learning new skills. Kaylie’s passions include cats, music, and traveling. Kaylie is also working towards getting her clinical license in professional counseling.
